There is almost no photoshoping done to this photo, except to remove the digital blue haze/glare around the center of the tree which is where the sun was as it was rising. The smoke was from our sad attempt to start a fire with semi wet logs. This was when I was mountain climbing up in Mt. Ritter. Show with my Nikon D50, Shutter Speed: 1/500, second, F Number: F/11.0 ,Focal Length: 35 mm, ISO Speed: 200.
