Shot at the base near Mt.Ritter at my base camp. The valley we were camped in played nicely with the light creating such beautiful sunsets and sunrises. Apparently Shadowness now displays the meta-data and I don't have to go hunting into the file for it, so this time I just wont post it.

Just on a long drive through the middle of no where in Costa Rica while on my way to Zip Line near a Volcano. It's been a while I forgot which one though. This was also a lot of photoshoping, while I was experimenting with making platinum prints getting so obsessed with them that I tried to replicate the effect in photoshop.
Vic Good, once you get down here I'm going to kick your ass back into graphic design and web design.*

This is following someones style, I should be giving them credit for just "mimicking" his style. However, alas, I forgot his name, if anyone can remember who this style looks like let me know and I will fix this description. But in any event, this is my take on his style of work, using his for a base of inspiration.*

- Ferrari Concept 001
This is one of my first vector works, though it is a vector trace from which I take no credit for the original concept (from which I have lost) but I do take credit in the fact I did all the colours and shine etc. etc. I started out with just making a black and white trace, then I did the rest on my own.*
Vic
- Ferrari Concept 002
Another one of my first vectors however this time instead of making a stencil outline I made it from "eying" the original image and going from there. Again I take no true credit except for my work in redrawing the image.*

- Gene Arant
He was the one who taught me everything I know about art, made it easy for me but no one else could understand his lingo. I just opened the newspaper to find on the front page that he has passed away from a brain tumor. He is THE best photographer I know of, and I feel like I should somehow carry on his legacy being that I was his best student and apprentice...*
Vic :p, I guess you will just have to drive to see me then. To be honest we don't know where we are going to go, but it needs to be near a big city like San Fran. Like I said, some of us are going to open up a Hookah/Rave spot, not quite sure how we will pull it off though...*

Aug 8th, 2007Vic No idea. I think in San Fran, gonna be like 6 of us, and two of us are going to open a rave/hookah lounge. Also adding friends is confusing yell at meng fo me

Close up shot from the base of a waterfall that I visited in Costa Rica. Shot with a Nikon D50, Shutter Speed: 1/60 second, F Number: F/5.6, Focal Length: 55 mm, ISO Speed: 200.
leiko what i like best about this shot is all the variations of water texture you managed to capture-- smooth and metal like, rough and splashy, foamy...

On a road trip around Costa Rica we saw some tourist trap of a shop, but the girls with us needed to use the bathroom so we ended up stopping for a quick rest. This was a garden of flowers all around the shop, however these purple ones (cannot be arsed to recall a name, I'm rolling at the moment) made up the entire front area just hanging down, so I got a nice close shot of them hanging like this. Shot with my Nikon D50 ,Shutter Speed: 1/60 second, F Number: F/5.6, Focal Length: 55 mm, ISO Speed: 200.
leiko beautiful! clear colors, and focus, and nice frame =)
