One of my main OC's since middle school. While he may appear bland and cliche' he is both loved and hated by most people as he is restless and will throw out a joke or pun where he can.
In his childhood he ran away to join a Circus. And when he realized just how dark and dreary a Circus could be, ran away from it. After roaming through towns a homeless lad he was eventually adopted and taken in by a woman (my persona) where he was raised and educated.
The circus had left a psychological impact on his life, hence his outfit of joker hats and bells with curled toes on his shoes. He got his name while learning some new words and he noticed how similar the two words "Jester" And "Gesture" sounded. Eventually during a spelling test, and like most kids, he stumbled over the word and wrote " Juessgture " and was addressed as such from that point on.
