Top of the mill in lumsdale in Matlock my hometown, where the water is coming from is a large manmade lake that was used to slow the progression of the river so it could be used to power the mills which are further down the river, i have always loved this image due to the almost slowness of the water cascading down the steps to begin its long journey.
