Hmm. I think I might have gone with a light shading of gold and more contrast with that eye to bring out the 'spell' versus full-blown color. And that's the pain of working with traditional and especially color. It's really hard to completely back out from that. However, I do love this piece. You have a lot of skill. Great job.
