However I have some ideas that I think may help you get more people interested in your programme, after all, nobody likes sports these days do they? They're all inside eatin nachos and playing mario warriors. That's why all the kids are so fat! People say that kids these days play too many voilent video games and it isn't good for thier intellectual and moral development and they shpuld be outside in the fresh air (unless you live in London or somewhere big, where there isn't any!) playing sports and engaging in physcal activities and stuff like that. I dont mean to boast but I'm very clever and got several Bs at school in subjects that are not dance, drama or cooking. Therefore you should listen to my idea which is this: More fat children will go outside and play sports and like your olympic advertising shows if you make them more like video games. That is to say- more violent. Here is one such suggestion i have drawn for you on my computer it is called "Surf Jousting". It could also be named Joust surfing or Water pole. The object of the sport is for two men riding the sea waves on surf boards to go towards each other very fast with big poles and smack each other right in the melon. The last one to drown wins. it will be more popular with sharks added. Please let me know if you think this is a good plan and if I can have some money for suggesting it. i have got more suggestion to offer soon Yours Sincerly Tom McGrath Professhunal Artist P.S This work is copyright 2013 to me. So don't nick it eh! Hopefully he won't break down half way this time. Once again he's got Mehmet the monkey with him, his lucky mascot from his six previous failed entries. Just behind him we see the gracious Madame Beuharniaus on her faithful steed "Cranberry Jam". They've always got stupid names haven't they? Let's face it, she's not gonna win- that horse/camel thing is going to get tired- this is a really long race for goodness sake! In a close third we've got Raj MacDumpling- last of the famous MacDumpling brothers. Pioneers of heavier than air flight- now for the most part sadly deceased. He's the bookie's favourite to win anyway- assuming he doesn't nose dive into a sausage factory or collide with a church steeple like his brothers. God rest their souls. Adams and Jones are a clear fourth position in the HMS Tattysloop. Guess they don't realise half the course is over land- should be exciting to see how that pans out anyway... You can also see the work in progress images on my blog here: http://www.spikedmcgrath.com/blog/nearly-yet/ There's also a short story excerpt to give some meaning to the image which you can read on my site here: http://www.spikedmcgrath.com/gallery/are_we_nearly_there_yet.html Cheers Sun, 15 Sep 2013 10:08:28 -0400 Kieth & Sue 4 eva!!! http://shadowness.com/Tom990/kieth--sue-4-eva-2
This is Keith & and his girlfriend Sue. As you can see they're at least 50% in love. It's Ok, she's not real. These two are fictional characters I came up with for the fun of painting them. After the last portrait I did to practice and entertain myself I wondered how I could keep things fresh and increase the challenge a bit? The answer: two heads are better than one! The real fun of doing a multi-person portrait is that you don't just seek to convey the details of the faces, but to convey the relationship between the subjects too. I've got a brilliant idea for what I'm going to do next... Yeah, thats right 3 people. It's the logical progression isn't it? :P Tue, 06 Aug 2013 12:15:44 -0400
