I'm a big Scifi fan and just love to create futuristic places. This one was created with Vue and some heavy postwork in Photoshop. I personally love the atmospheric light in this scene. Included into Expose 9 Digital Art Book.

I use Vue too - which version do you have? Mine is Esprit 8 - wish I could afford better!. Very nice 'mist' btw - difficult to do well!

Nice work, I like the use of light in the distant part of the image.

Really like the way you've used the light, like early sun rays of the morning catch off the land. However the distance is what really catches my eyes, the mountains and giant rock formations, particularly as you can see them, but not quite everything that they have to offer.

Thanks for the nice feedback. And yes... the far back of this pic was quite a balance act. I'm happy how it all turned out. I think i got the atmospheric depth (especially in the back) really nicely together there. Even if i almost all the time thought "the light is a little too heavy". Sometimes you just have to say 'stop' and that's it. =)

Not a problem, you certainly achieved what you set out to do.

It really is immediately engaging, just from how the light is filtered and hits the edge of the frame just right. A terrific view on a bright, ready morning. Makes me feel so adventurous ;P

this is awesome and wonderful and just by looking it I could tell that this is rendered in Vue .. Vue has something that sticks out from others like Bryce and so :)

Vue drastically evolved over the last 3-4 years. That's one reason why so many VFX companies start picking it up. Coming from terragen i never thought i would go with vue... since i tried it on version 3 or so. It was buggy as hell and i wasn't able to connect with it. Later i came to terragens limitations when it came to realizing my ideas. Vue was at version 6 by then and offered so much more possibilities and freedom. Now i stood with vue instead of going back to terragen 2.
