Shadowness - Tigaer I'm a digital artist for quite some time now and will continue to be one for another while i guess. =D Hope you enjoy my work! en The Eternals
The creation of this one stretched over a couple of months with longer pauses. The scene itself was created with Vue and heavily refined with Photoshop. For more specific details please check here: Vue – Photoshop – 6000x2553px Wed, 08 Oct 2014 08:31:16 -0400 Worlds We Know
I started this one quite a while ago. I finished it and left it on my harddrive. There are quite some parts I enjoy in it but I think the overall result didn't click with me. It's too polished to not show it and I'm sure that it hits the taste of some people out there who may like it more than I do. =) Vue – DAZ Studio – Photoshop – 5000x2283px Specific Info & Wallpapers: Tue, 30 Sep 2014 12:03:33 -0400 Nok Tiris
Created for "Citizen In The Temple", a shortfilm by Jason Huls. It'll be hopefully finished in a couple of months. I used Vue to create a base for the landscape, cityscape and canyon. Photoshop was used to refine the details, add more depth and texture to the scene. Tried a couple of new things with this one and had fun adding all the green stuff to the scenery. Used Vue to create and setup the overall cscene and composition. Worldmaschine was used to create the terrain. Sculptris was used to create the weird rock formations in the center of the image. Photoshop was used to bring all the different elements into one and overpaint/refine the whole scene. 6000×2550 – Vue – Worldmachine – Sculptris – Photoshop Specific Info & Wallpapers: Like my page on FB for more insight into the artworks and detail shots: - everyone is welcome. =D Thu, 31 Jul 2014 15:20:57 -0400 Lightroom
No specific story behind this one. Just wanted to go a step further with my interior design skills and see what I can come up with. Same goes for the lighting of the scene. Hope you enjoy the view as much as I do! =) Wallpapers: Wed, 16 Apr 2014 12:23:39 -0400 Sanctuary
No big story about this one. I just wanted to dig a little deeper into a technique I first used on my Room With A View piece. For specific info please check here: Wallpapers: Tue, 04 Mar 2014 11:16:24 -0500 Claim New Worlds
Now this one has quite a history and it would be far too much to put into this innocent little description here: So if you are interested in backstory please head over here. Let me just say that one of the parts I rendered for this pic took almost 300 hours to finish. It was a little unexpected and crazy. Initially I wanted to play around and try myself on some 3d abstract work. I created some 3d models via Xenodream and tossed them into Vue. It didn’t work out really well but spawned some ideas for a scene and I decided to combine my 3d abstract idea with some Scifi. I really had some pressure here since I did not want to have these 300 hours wasted. I had a plan for this pic right from the beginning, but you never know how it turns out until you saw it. So I’m happy that at least the 300 hours were not wasted and I managed to do something nice with it. =D Print Detail - Plates - Facebook Page: Thu, 30 Jan 2014 10:43:04 -0500 Echoes
This one is a proud part of the latest The Luminarium: Illuminate V Exhibit. Technically the pic is a 3d/2d mixture. The pic itself is created via 3d but a lot of refinements and add ons were done via Photoshop. Let me just tell you that it's full of insane detail. The amount of work put into this was a little crazy. I even sat down and made a short animation of the scene: Sun, 27 Oct 2013 09:36:21 -0400 Room With A View
This one is a special one for me. Not only did I try something sorta new with this interior architecture... the pic will also be featured in two relatively prominent artbooks. The first one is Ballistic Publishing's Exposé Vol. 11 and then the soon to be released d'artiste Matte Painting Vol. 3. I submitted lots of pics for these books but did not expect this one to make it. I guess the pic speaks for itself? A great honour to say the least. The pic itself is a lot of Vue work, again combined with a lot of Photoshop work, to fix and enhance and overpaint things. Specifics: If there is a particular story for it? Well. Lets just say it’s a wonderful friday morning. A glorious weekend ahead. A good motivation to welcome the last workday of the week! Fresh clean morning air in the room and soft warm sunlight on the skin to welcome you to a new day. 6571×3000 – Vue – Photoshop Tue, 20 Aug 2013 06:49:26 -0400
