I am a self taught both traditional and digital fantasy artist from the Netherlands. Allthough I had an "artistic break" for almost 13 years I slowly started to pick up my skills again by the end of 2008....first digitally, and since last year (seriously) the trusty pencils. Next challenge will be my first work in oil ;) !!! After my first publication last year in the special 18+ edition of the Pure Fantasy Magazine, things got started, and slowly taking steps into the world of professional illustrator, and make my dream come true !!! Currently illustrating for Pure Fantasy Magazine and ArtVlam. Also working on an illustrated fantasy novel (trilogy), a project together with dutch bestselling suspense/thriller author Jack Lance. First book is planned to come out next year !!!

I am a fine artist living in southern California, USA. My primary medium is graphite on paper. Otoliths are tiny stones in your inner ear. they rest in a chamber of cilia, nerve fibers, that give us our sense of being up down etc. it is like the bubble in a level. I love to create dream worlds beyond most others imagination and interpretation. I do favor dragons especially but try to practice many other creatures and fantasy humanoid as well. I work on digital art mostly nowadays, but am accomplished in traditional mediums like gouache, colored pencil, sculpey, and latex as well. I do sculpturing from time to time from my own original concepts. And once in a while design for products that are my own or commissioned by a company/private client. Usually working on my own projects currently. Merfle! Munchies was my original project that has a delicious world of baby dragon "whelps" transformed into your favorite desserts. I do accept work for private clients and commissions sometimes, please ask me if I am open for them.
