Apr 25th, 2011(Description en Français juste après) I am Patrick O'Sloan, a french and Irish art student, and more precisely in the strip-designed and the graphic design/Digital painting. My artistic inspiration are very different stylistically, the principal author inspiring me for my drawings was Tsutomu Nihei, an unusual mangaka, then have been added other references, Hirohiko Araki (Jojo's Bizarre Adventures), Anthony Macbain, Alan Moore, Mike Mignola, Todd MacFarlane, Francis Bacon, Dali, Moebius, Souillon (I like the contrast between my inspirations for those who know them). Otherwise my interests lie to all styles, comics, manga, French and Belgian and others! The literature is not my thing, I stayed on the news of Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde, Dracula, whole Lovecraft, the George RR Martin A song of ice and fire, The Witcher from Andrzei Sapkowski, Stephen King's, and a lot of Maupassant, also compiles all of Desproges... -------------------------------------------------------------------------- Oui le titre a peu d'importance dans une présentation, car même si on essais de faire original ça a déjà été fait. Je suis Patrick O'Sloan, étudiant en art, et plus précisément dans la bande-dessiné et l'illustration (avec même une option architecture d'intérieur !). Mes inspiration artistiques sont très variés stylistiquement, le principal auteur inspirant mes dessins autrefois était Tsutomu Nihei, un mangaka hors du commun, puis sont venues s'ajouter d'autres références, Hirohiko Araki (Jojo's Bizarre adventures), Anthony Macbain, Alan Moore, Mike Mignola, Todd MacFarlane, Francis Bacon, Dali, Moebius, Souillon (j'aime les contrastes entre mes inspirations, pour ceux qui les connaissent). Autrement mes intérêts se portent vers tous les styles, comics, manga, franco-belge, et les autres ! La littérature n'est pas trop mon truc, je suis resté sur la nouvelle du Docteur Jekyll et Mr Hyde, Dracula, un petit peu de Lovecraft, du Georges RR Martin avec : A song of ice and fire (Le Trône de fer), ou le Sorceleur de Andrzei Sapkowski, du Stephen King, et pas mal de Maupassant, aussi toute la compile de Desproges.
