I began with Loki, I know he actually isn't an As, but I like Loki and his role as trickster ;) It is on purpose that I have let interpretation of the image to be up to the viewer. He can either be Loki trickster or Loki man who comes with the Ases attributes This picture is with the image of Freya [link] given as a wedding gift. Wed, 13 Feb 2013 15:46:20 -0500 Freja http://shadowness.com/TerraRavenBearh/freja-2
This is my second picture in my series about the Norse gods. In the second picture, I've chosen to portray Freya, goddess of war, love and magic. I see her as a dark-haired beauty with large cat-like eyes. I chose the blue dress to show her high position among the Norse gods. And obvious her cats shcould be in the picture too. ;) This picture is with the image of Loki given as a wedding gift. Wed, 13 Feb 2013 15:44:51 -0500 60 år http://shadowness.com/TerraRavenBearh/60--r-2
My Gods this drawing took 10 times longer than planned, primarily because it got its own life and the jewels at the bottom had to be in it. :S The drawing should have been used for a 60th birthday, but I wasn't able to finish it ,because of all the details. In Denmark you call a 60th anniversary for example, a diamond wedding, that I used as inspiration. He knows when somebody has a gift for him ;) I drew this card for a friend she's a dragonwhispere, so I found it appropriate to make this card ;) Tue, 25 Dec 2012 05:06:32 -0500 Grandfather Yule http://shadowness.com/TerraRavenBearh/grandfather-yule
This is a card form my yuletide-cards series Royalty of Yule. Here I've drawn my interpretation of six figures or deities belonging to the Sabbath. This is Grandfarther Yule. He is inspired by a Danish poem from 1800-century. The poem is about a boy and the time which leads up to Christmas in a Danishupper middle class home in Copenhagen. During the poem Peter, the boy says, and his sister, aske the grandmother to tell a story, so they can get the time to go. Her story is about the old Christmas. An old man dressed in fur clothes from head to foot, the hat was a little light and in his arms he carried a Christmas tree. The old Christmas went through the city streets, and at every door he stops and listens, if he can hear that mom and dad are angry at their children go his way, but if he can hear the parents are happy for their children he entered the room. He takes the little light down from his hat and bows to the tree, after which all the lights on the tree begins to burn. The candles burn with Christmas peace and Christmas joy. Where the old in Christmas didn't go in to see the lights on the tree doesn't burn and peace of Christmas falls not home. In my interpretation of the old Christmas is he going through winter landscape to spread Christmas cheer Tue, 25 Dec 2012 04:56:43 -0500 Gifttaks http://shadowness.com/TerraRavenBearh/gifttaks
This is a gift certificate.
