I did this piece years and years ago. My kids were young and I had no money to buy art supplies. I had four colored pencils (Two were so short that I gave myself blisters on my middle finger trying to hold them) and an odd shaped piece of art paper someone gave me. It's not very good but I thought it showed tenacity for my art. The limited pallet makes me cringe and smile at the same time. When I got this back from a friend who scanned it for me It is so large that he had to scan it in 5 different pieces, that I had to reassemble.
My painting "Ghostly Revelation" was an updated version of this.

A moving pack, a family of heart, burning through the dark upon a path made by the walking marks; the footsteps lead no step lightly, but hard. This is very beautiful, and very symbolic of many things hard and treacherous while still keeping loved ones at heart.

That is SUCH a great story. I am surprised that there are only 4 colours in this - the combination of a slight orange and a blue gives it a lot of vibrancy. Also, I just really like the tree trunks. :laugh
