http://www.facebook.com/christopherohoski Born in South-Western, Ontario, Canada, Christopher O'Hoski studied art history, painting, drawing, design and arts education at Sheridan College, the Dundas Valley School of Art and the Royal Conservatory. O'Hoski primary creates his work using Acrylic and Oil, but still finds favour in using Watercolour. To date, Christopher has exhibited in New York, Washington, Atlanta, Austin, Brooklyn, San Francisco and Toronto, while recently being published in International Contemporary Artists Volumes I, II and III out of Greece and New York . Né au Sud-Ouest de l’Ontario, Canada, Christopher O'Hoski a étudié en histoire de l'art, peinture, dessin, design, et l'enseignement artistique au Collège Sheridan, l'École d'Art Dundas Valley et le Conservatoire Royal. Christopher peint essentiellement en acryliques et en huiles, mais se trouve souvent inspiré par l’aquarelle. May 24thLowbrow is a widespread populist art movement with origins in the underground comix world, punk music, hot-rod street culture, and other subcultures. Lowbrow art often has a sense of humor - sometimes the humor is gleeful, sometimes impish, and sometimes it is a sarcastic comment. The single most common tactic that Lowbrow artists employ is to poke fun at convention. They know the "rules" of art, and consciously choose not to abide by them. If the test of time for legitimacy (as an artistic movement) means that Lowbrow speaks/spoke, in visual terms, to the millions of us who share a common cultural, symbolic language - albeit a "lower" or "middle" class, media-driven language - then, yes, Lowbrow is here to stay. Anthropologists will probably study Lowbrow in the future, to attempt to figure out late 20th and early 21st century U.S. societal influences.

Nov 17th, 2011My name is Tanya Marie and I was born and still reside in the outback town of Broken Hill, NSW, Australia. I am a self-taught artist which began with a little extra talent drawing as a child; sketching and dabbling with acrylic as a teenager; and a much loved hobby as an adult... now, after 2 beautiful children and some gruelling life lessons, I am attempting the leap from hobbyist to Professional Artist. I am currently being represented by Agora Gallery, Chelsea New York! I am a self proclaimed perfectionist which resonates in my artwork, particularly in my lines. I love the eye-catching, boldness of acrylic, the beauty of intense colour and the exoticness of the female form. I predominantly use geometric shapes and contrasting colours or images to make my pieces pop! Also, many of my artworks include hidden images cunningly pieced together to form the final embodiment. I am absolutely still growing and learning what I am capable of as an artist, specifically experimenting with application techniques. I dream to one day open my own small gallery on the coast, but for now I am more than happy and very excited to see where the winding road takes me. Nov 19th, 2011perpetually twisted but deliciuosly dark. i was born in portland and raised in the midwest as a kid, but i grew up in alaska. wasilla is my hometown. living there was intense and beautiful and i did art always. poetry, stories ,murals, pen, pencil fingers ,needles ,costume, makeup, singing ,dancing ,and bird watching .do them all now still, but real hidden. wat i love the most is faces and skin blood bones fibers and the human mind when i hear you and feel you i can paint you in my mind.i like models fashion and everything photography .thank you all peace out
