I was saying that is a bit changed couse as you said is much simple then usual but has a big visual impact, i always was curious about what artists from the past and contemporary you like and what styles, surealism u can see it in most of the photo manipulations, but most of your marmaids remembers me of Botticelli and his "The birth of Venus" painting, even if it is not the same style the feeling that your works give is the same.
I don't see many description of your works at last here on Shadowness, i know that many artists want the viewer to make an own description of the artwork but i think many times the idea of the artist himself can change the viewers perspective of seeing the work and makes him think that that is was not only made to entertain your eyes but also to make you think:D
I know many times i'm annoying you hahaha and i'm sory , but i like your works so i tell you my ideas and critiques.

wow! First of all dear so are you not annoying an any way ot has been ever. I treasure out friendship very much. Hope you understand that!You really have a point here. I often has a meaning witj my works. Not many of my works are just a manipulation..I have a thought behind them. I especially noticed this on my last work. I could have done it 'magical' with a lot of stars an such. But i wanted it minimalist and i think people were a little disappointed at this work from me. Same with the mermaids, it's not a mermaid..i have a mening behind it. That why they are looking as they do. I can see you have noticed that. Maybe I need a decription in the comment box with an explaination of my work.

You welcome :D you are a great person and your last work is not disapointing, in my 5 years on artistic highschool i learn that art is not something always beautiful for all the people and the fact u made the work so minimalist made me happy , cuz it's more like an alarm from you saying " hey i'm here and i'm not only making " magical" things, i love what i do, desn't matter how i do it and i want you to understand it" keep going Karin i have my eyes on you hahahaha

haha..exactly. I have noticed that! it is a bit confusing when some loves ones work and says it is great enough and some says i'm not worthy a DD for a second.for that I need more skills to even be close to one. So I have laid all that stuff behind me and just create right now. My art often refect how I am feeling inside. Look at my last four works..first i was really sad, it was when I wrote an upsettng journal ('Death' work came after that, I was drowned) ...then I felt angry and unfairly treated (..'His Daughter' work came after that which are really dark) ...then I came back to dA and decided not to leave and I don't care anymore ( 'Leaving*work came after that..I wanted to fly ) and in my recent work it's like you are saying.." I don't care anymore because I am who I am"..and out came the simple 'WinterQueen' work. Also when I did my work 'Feelings' I was sad and and it shows in that piece. . Thank you again for this true analysis of me and my art....haha.love:
