Jan 11thI believe in my in now, I believe in the imagination disinterested, I believe in the gaze, I believe in the sleepless nights, I believe in the all-seeing mirror, I believe in the inevitable martyrdom, I believe in the words soft, I believe in video games, I think of as the "time" flies, I believe in hatred as inner peace, I believe in laughter, I believe in the silences timely, I think ... I think it fails to write, In my friends, But never in the friends of my friends, I want to believe in them but not them, At times myself alone, In my most sinister desires, In the voices, In the sweetness of the strokes, In the gut, In the cold, In pure ideas, I believe in Ambrosia, a new White House, But mostly I think that I may not stop making believe, I think.

Mar 29thLowbrow is a widespread populist art movement with origins in the underground comix world, punk music, hot-rod street culture, and other subcultures. Lowbrow art often has a sense of humor - sometimes the humor is gleeful, sometimes impish, and sometimes it is a sarcastic comment. The single most common tactic that Lowbrow artists employ is to poke fun at convention. They know the "rules" of art, and consciously choose not to abide by them. If the test of time for legitimacy (as an artistic movement) means that Lowbrow speaks/spoke, in visual terms, to the millions of us who share a common cultural, symbolic language - albeit a "lower" or "middle" class, media-driven language - then, yes, Lowbrow is here to stay. Anthropologists will probably study Lowbrow in the future, to attempt to figure out late 20th and early 21st century U.S. societal influences.

After graduating high school, I continued my studies of Design and Illustration for 2 years, earning a diploma within the field of arts. During those years, I was able to explore realism, apply new techniques and work with different artistic styles. I've been through nearly all [digital] art styles you can name; Anime, Manga, Vector, Photomanip, Logo design, Typography, Western comic, Fantasy, Dragons, Landscapes, Abstract, even the Yaoi phase (lol). But right now, I think I've finally found my passion in Portraiture and the fine detail within Photo Realism.

Feb 7th, 2012Welcome to my Shadowness profile! First thing you should know is I will fav and run! I don't always have a comment -- but by fav'ing your work, I'm clearly stating that I love it. :D Secondly, Yes I did consider putting a bunch of gobbledygook here about who I am, what my inspirations are, my mediums, my shows and my awards -- Wouldn't it just be easier and less irritating to visit my website instead? I've got a lot more work there, plenty of information about me and mine, as well as information about how you can own some. :)
