Nature had never been my option for photography... 'till I started to understand it. This is one of the first pictures I shot of a flower. Now I'm starting to love it and define what kind of metaphors I can show with nature.
Critique for improvement encouraged.

Jun 13th, 2011 Reply Ghetto Gorilla BlastersI think a smaller aperture, maybe around f/8 can give the photo a sharper look. Some lenses tend to get a bit fuzzy if you use the biggest aperture.
It will give the photo a bigger focal field and will show more details.

in my opinion, the depth and the composition are great, although the focus can be improved (it's slightly not focused), but since this is the firs shot of you, I can understand it ^^

Focus is on pistils (is that the name? haha) but it can be improved, hope it will with better lens, too much for the 18-55mm. Thanks for your comment!
