Such an inspiration! I've tried so many times to do a combination of color pencils and paint and failed, but seeing this inspires me to keep trying and learn from each failure all the more!

I had thought about watercolors but have been a bit of a cheapskate in gonig out to invest in them. With not only you but teachers and fellow students telling me to try it perhaps it's time I got off my duff and gave it a go~♥ Thanks for the encouragement. You really are incredible!

yes, I think they're a good media to do mixed techniques. However, is not that easy to manage them perfectly, you need a lot of practice but since watercolors melts with water if you put the brush again and again over them, acrylics instead are not soluble once they're dried. So maybe using watercolors could be easier to improve with mixed technique. :)
