Sister to "The Sea Priestess" http://tinyurl.com/cvqjo7x , The Earth Priestess was inspired by my recent experiences at The Great Convergence in Cairo. Adorning the priestess are pieces of jewelry I bought in Khan el-Khalili, one of the oldest marketplaces in the world, and In the distance a row of Convergence participants can be seen making their way toward the pyramids– a moment in time originally captured by Aaron Gautschi in this famous photo http://tinyurl.com/cj5uh4w The only stock used was for parts of the sky.
