Hey dude, sorry for the late, i think you have the technique and the imagination, you just have a pay attention to not put too much elements on your artworks (i tell you that because i have the same problem ;)). Also pay attention to made well integrate elements in your photomanipulation such as fire, to resume : just take care of proportions and integration, the result would be better. But you do good works man. I hope it helps you.
