I did this for http://shadowness.com/Sicuro . He asked me to come up with a concept for his republican light guard troops from his new game "Ascension". This concept was never used, but I think it was a good study. I used a variety of washes and pens on this.

      Yes, his arm is supposed to be pitch black. One of the designs of the concept - to have a stealthy appeal...asymmetrical to make them look like a specialized unit and not a normal soldier.
