My name is Rich Heath. I am the Owner & CEO of Whiplash Photography and The Whiplash Girls. I specialize in photographing Beautiful Women, Musicians and Custom Cars, Trucks & Motorcycles. However I will photograph just about anything you require. I started out as an amateur photographer in 1979. (The First time I ever picked up a 35mm camera I used it to photograph Van Halen at a concert at Municipal Auditorium in Austin, TX. on July 16, 1979) I have been a professional photographer in the Dallas area for about 6 years now and have been fortunate enough to develop quite a following. I started off my professional career doing portfolio work for local models and event photography for "The Fire Girls", "HellRazor Customs" and "Howsaboutabeer.com". The exposure I obtained from those venues lead to work from several commercial clients shooting everything from DJs to local and national musicians and singers to custom cars, trucks and motorcycles.

I'm very easy to work with and great with children. I do my best to keep my clients happy and at ease during their shoots and all leave with big smiles on their faces. 1st timers need not worry, I'm very patient and a great modeling coach. I can even teach you how to work a runway like a pro. In fact...I myself, probably do it better than most supermodels. (Which is pretty funny considering I'm a 47 year old fat guy! LOL) I have worked with a lot of amateur models and have coached and turned many of them into working professional models.

If you live or work in the DFW area, odds are I have photographed someone you know or have at least heard of!

Some of the musicians and bands I have photographed over the years include: Ozzy Osbourne, Eddie Money, Van Halen, The Guess Who, Loverboy, Pat Benatar, America, Foghat, Blue Oyster Cult, Tommy Lee, Bobzilla, Vinnie Paul, Joe Satriani, Stuart Hamm, Yngwie Malmsteen, Joe Lynn Turner, Rudy Sarzo, Jo Dee Messina, Tracy Byrd, Shooter Jennings, Jerry Jeff Walker, Courtney Now, Overscene, Destroyer, The Def Pedestrians, The Screaming Lucys, Spearing Brittney and The 12th of Never, to name just a few.

Musicians: I can shoot your Album or CD Covers, Jacket Photos, Promo Photos, Posters, Flyers and Concerts with professionalism and at reasonable rates.

Portfolio work is generally performed @ $100.00 per hr. for both men and women. Commercial work, event photography, concerts, CD covers and band photos, family shoots, sporting events, drag races, and more are priced on a case by case basis.

SPECIAL PROJECTS

I am currently seeking models to do Artistic Nudes, Body scapes and Playboy Style Nudes, both black & White and Color. I am also seeking models for a nude body painting project. I am collaborating with a very talented local tattoo artist and body painter on this project and as such, it promises to be a very interesting project. I welcome any inquiries regarding the nude projects and the body painting project. All special projects are TFCD for the right model/models. I do not pay models for special projects. I have around 115 models on staff, most of which are more than happy to help with my special projects. I am seeking new faces for these projects, which may lead to future employment within my company/companies.

Please Note: Due to time constraints, I am no longer Photographing Weddings! If you need a good Wedding Photographer, I will be more than happy to refer you to one! My back up photographer for The Whiplash Girls is Phenominal!
