O'Hoski primary creates his work using Acrylic and Oil, but still finds favour in using Watercolour. To date, Christopher has exhibited in New York, Washington, Atlanta, Austin, Brooklyn, San Francisco and Toronto, while recently being published in International Contemporary Artists Volumes I, II and III out of Greece and New York . Jul 8th, 2011I'm a self taught illustrator from the Philippines. My artworks usually focus on women with very long hair surrounded by flowers and vines. Other artworks depend on what I feel or what I have experienced. I do traditional and digital illustrations. I usually listen to music while I draw something because for me it helps a lot when I'm making details to my drawings. My dream is to become a childrens book illustrator. Jun 14th, 2012Lowbrow is a widespread populist art movement with origins in the underground comix world, punk music, hot-rod street culture, and other subcultures. Lowbrow art often has a sense of humor - sometimes the humor is gleeful, sometimes impish, and sometimes it is a sarcastic comment. The single most common tactic that Lowbrow artists employ is to poke fun at convention. They know the "rules" of art, and consciously choose not to abide by them. If the test of time for legitimacy (as an artistic movement) means that Lowbrow speaks/spoke, in visual terms, to the millions of us who share a common cultural, symbolic language - albeit a "lower" or "middle" class, media-driven language - then, yes, Lowbrow is here to stay. Anthropologists will probably study Lowbrow in the future, to attempt to figure out late 20th and early 21st century U.S. societal influences.

Jun 1st, 2012the ignition of making a positive world is you yourself. I'm ghalamDAR (which means writer/author in Farsi). i started art with graphic designing in 2005... which was a real accident...! i was just trying to make some logos for my name and i found it interesting, so i continued and reached this level... i got into graffiti and street art in 2009 but the first time i hold an spray can was about 2006... actually when i played getting up video game and just got stock in it's atmosphere!!! ( i was such a kid in that time!!!!) i started with the walls of subway terminal... they were pretty unclean but completely safe to waste time on them... this year (2011) i decided to get involved more seriously... so i gave exams and changed my courses from mathematics and physics to visual arts... and i got into "Tehran Art University" which is the best art university in Iran... right now... i feel happy with the road i stepped in... cause I'm sure that i just found the reason of my creation...
