Pistol River

Pistol River is the name of a small coastal town on the Oregon coast, and probably the name of the small river that empties into the Pacific Ocean. The beach lies right along route 101, which is part and parcel to the Pacific Coast Highway (PCH). It's not that far into Oregon from California--a quiet little location to say the least.

This was day 21, freshly out of the Redwood Forests and not in the least bit bored with the Pacific Coast. The morning fog was just burning off at this location and the sky began to blue. 2011-2012.
