Feb 5th"Wanna-do-everything-Artist" out of Bavaria, Germany. Although I received a very traditional art education and worked mostly with brushes, pencils, charcoal, wood, glas, metal, fabric et cetera. but today i have to work digital most of the time... and I love it! Apr 15th, 2011I am very passionate about visual arts. My art work conveys poetic and sentimental visuals through the characters I create, often in surreal, fantastic or magical landscapes. My style is best described as 'photo-manipulation' combining Photoshop techniques and digital painting. With the exception of the original digital photograph, my work is created entirely on a computer utilizing my knowledge of digital techniques and the traditional art skills I have learnt over the years. I really enjoy making people feel something. Whether I'm laughing, excited, miserable, infuriated, dumbfounded, or in awe - I just want to share that with others. I feel the best way to do that is to create something. To summarize, I like making art work and working on films that do stuff to people.

Sep 13thLowbrow is a widespread populist art movement with origins in the underground comix world, punk music, hot-rod street culture, and other subcultures. Lowbrow art often has a sense of humor - sometimes the humor is gleeful, sometimes impish, and sometimes it is a sarcastic comment. The single most common tactic that Lowbrow artists employ is to poke fun at convention. They know the "rules" of art, and consciously choose not to abide by them. If the test of time for legitimacy (as an artistic movement) means that Lowbrow speaks/spoke, in visual terms, to the millions of us who share a common cultural, symbolic language - albeit a "lower" or "middle" class, media-driven language - then, yes, Lowbrow is here to stay. Anthropologists will probably study Lowbrow in the future, to attempt to figure out late 20th and early 21st century U.S. societal influences.
