I'm a self taught illustrator from the Philippines. My artworks usually focus on women with very long hair surrounded by flowers and vines. Other artworks depend on what I feel or what I have experienced. I do traditional and digital illustrations. I usually listen to music while I draw something because for me it helps a lot when I'm making details to my drawings. My dream is to become a childrens book illustrator. As of today, I'm still trying to find and learn more techniques in drawing to improve my illustrations. =) You can also find me here: Tumblr: http://nikkiradan.tumblr.com/ Behance: http://www.behance.net/nikkiradan

Nov 12thUnited States Hi everyone my name is Shawna Walker and im 23. I lived in California for most my life when i was a lil girl But i now live in Underwood Washingtoni have lived On the Washington and Oregon side of the Columbia Gorge i had a bad childhood when i was growing up But thats what made me who i am today.I saw that photography helped me show the way i felt and made me forget all the bad stuff that has and was going on in my life; somethings just never go away. I like how photography helps me show people what i think is beautiful threw my eyes. I got in to photography when i was 14 years old. i haven’t taken any college class but have been thinking about it. my friends and family say i have a good eye for photography which is really nice to know they have my back. Feb 19thI'm not an expert doodler. I just find doodling an addiction since January of 2013. Once I've got pen in my hand, i keep on doodling. Others' artworks, my friends (my believers’ ☺) are my motivation and inspiration. I Doodle for fun not for fame. I also do editing’s but I'm not that good in Photoshop. I'm still on the "Mastering stage". I'm so freaking envious of the illustrators. I want to learn more on this field. I'm a photography lover too .XD "doodle is an unfocused drawing made while a person's attention is otherwise occupied. Doodles are simple drawings that can have concrete representational"

Oct 26thWHY I AM NOT A PAINTER I am not a painter, I am a poet. Why? I think I would rather bea painter, but I am not. Well, for instance, Mike Goldbergis starting a painting. I drop in ”Sit down and have a drink” he says. I drink; we drink. I look up. “You have SARDINES in it.””Yes, it needed something there.””Oh.” I go and the days go byand I drop in again. The paintingis going on, and I go, and the daysgo by. I drop in. The painting isfinished. “Where’s SARDINES?”All that’s left is justletters, “It was too much,” Mike says. But me? One day I am thinking ofa color; orange. I write a lineabout orange. Pretty soon it is awhole page of words, not lines. Then another page. There should beso much more, not of orange, ofwords, of how terrible orange is and life. Days go by. It is even inprose, I am a real poet. My poemis finished and I haven’t mentionedorange yet. It’s twelve poems, I callit ORANGES. And one day in a galleryI see Mike’s painting, called SARDINES. Perchè non sono un pittore Non sono pittore, sono poeta.Perché? Forse preferirei essere pittore, ma non lo sono. Ad esempio, Mike Goldbergsta iniziando un quadro. Vado a trovarlo ”Siediti e bevi qualcosa” dice Bevo, beviamo. Guardo in alto. “Ci hai scritto SARDINE.””Sì, lì ci mancava qualcosa.””Ah.” Me ne vado, passano i giornie ritorno. Il quadrova avanti; me ne vado, passano i giorni. Ritorno. Il quadro èfinito. “Dov’è SARDINE?”Resta solo qualche lettera, “era troppo pieno,” dice Mike. E io? Passano i giorni. È perfino in prosa, sono un vero poeta. La poesiaè finita e non ho ancora nominatol’arancio. Sono dodici poesie, le chiamoARANCE. E un giorno in una galleriavedo il quadro di Mike intitolato SARDINE. Dec 9thLowbrow is a widespread populist art movement with origins in the underground comix world, punk music, hot-rod street culture, and other subcultures. Lowbrow art often has a sense of humor - sometimes the humor is gleeful, sometimes impish, and sometimes it is a sarcastic comment. The single most common tactic that Lowbrow artists employ is to poke fun at convention. They know the "rules" of art, and consciously choose not to abide by them. If the test of time for legitimacy (as an artistic movement) means that Lowbrow speaks/spoke, in visual terms, to the millions of us who share a common cultural, symbolic language - albeit a "lower" or "middle" class, media-driven language - then, yes, Lowbrow is here to stay. Anthropologists will probably study Lowbrow in the future, to attempt to figure out late 20th and early 21st century U.S. societal influences.
