The painting is inspired by a scene from What Dreams May Come. The movie is okay; however, there are several scenes I find particularly beautiful that were added to my inspiration chamber.
The library resonates with the idea that information in the universe is not lost. Ultimately, our lives, memories, and events happened for a reason and serve some grander purpose. Even though I'd like to think of us humans not so highly in the grand scheme of the universe, I do believe that the profound experiences we share does matter in some way. (This is also what I would like to investigate through quantum physics and astrophysics, hopefully drawing some relations between the spiritual and the scientific.)
