Shadowness - Paperdragon Hi!!! I am a self taught artist, working with pencils is my love and hope to even more improve with my chosen craft.... en Believe
Ah!!! Finally finished I was looking for a challenge and this ref was given to me, a very bad ref at that, and almost gave up the idea, I couldnt see anything, but the emotion and feeling caught my attention, so alot is guessing and using shadows, still I like it and am quite proud. If you were to ask what was the hardest, I can only say..the hat was the easiest As for the reference I dont know where it came from, if anyone knows let me know! Wed, 21 Dec 2011 22:42:25 -0500 Innocence
Some lives touch you in a way, that can never be forgotten. An innocent victim of child abuse by those who were supposed to protect her. The abuse was so well documented, to this day I just cant understand how the system let her down I dont know why Im hesitant about posting this, maybe after all she'd endured she should be left in peace. Somewhere out there someone still loves her. And though she wasnt my child I do too!!! Her story if you wish to watch[link] So please in a world that dehumanizes everything, turn off the TV and the internet and get involved, educate yourself and make a stand when you see something thats wrong, speak up for those who cannot speak for themselves!!!! Wed, 21 Dec 2011 22:39:38 -0500 mother hands
MOTHER'S HANDS Dear gentle hands have stroked my hair And cooled my brow, Soft hands that pressed me close And seemed to know somehow Those fleeting moods and erring thoughts That cloud my day, Which quickly melt beneath their suffrage And pass away. No other balm for earthly pain Is half so sure, No sweet caress as filled with love Nor half so pure. No other soul so close akin that understands, No touch that brings such perfect peace as Mother's hands. -- W. Dayton Wedgefarth Done on Bristol Board, mechanical pencils, and 6B art pencil..
