Peace of Mind

I had recently got back from camping at Lost Lake near Mt. Hood. It was so beautiful. I can understand why it’s called Lost Lake cause me and my friends were lost in a maze of roads for an hour before we arrived LOL. Oh yeah I also saw my first chipmunk! IT LOOKS MORE CUDDLY THAN A SQUIRREL :’D Then we went out to the lake to go canoeing and we noticed a little dragonfly was trailing us for half an hour. It was hovering in place so close to our faces. Too bad I couldn’t take it home with me xD We went out to the lake that following night to go stargazing. I’ve never seen the night sky so clear before, we saw a lot of shooting stars, and the reflection of the mountains was so breathtaking it was almost scary ha. I want to go camping more often. Screw technology lol And about this photo, the sun was just setting and the sunset light had cast a strange orange and purplish hue on Lost Lake and while I was walking down by the shoreline I saw a bunch of these little white flowers nearby. I barely even had to edit this. I absolutely love the colors and just how the look of it just puts me in a state of peace. I hope you enjoy it!

I have always wanted to work with surreal photography. To be honest, I'm still not quite sure if I have even done one in the past because of the confusion of abstract and surrealism haha! But I think I can take a hint that surrealism is sort of like this where everything is sort of mirage-like I guess and you get a sort of trippy feeling (LOL I'm a sad photographer), plus this reminds me of The Persistence of Memory painting by Salvador Dali--which I love :D

Went on a boating trip with some friends yesterday and went adventuring to find a few hidden coves, and lookey what I found! This little guy was growing between a crevice in the rocks out of all the dead plants growing around. I had my friend sprinkle some sand around, that's why it looks like sparkles lol
