Photography & More!
My name is Nolan and I am a photographer. Photographer Creates an image the same way as a painter. Only the canvas was Replaced by a photosensitive material - paint-by light. to see the hidden beauty in our heart. to create beautiful images we need to run your sensitivity to beauty. This is the key to success. Rest is so long, hard work backed by a large patience. When you want something, all the universe conspires in helping you to Achieve it. Love is the triumph of imagination over intelligence. It does not matter how slow you go so long as you do not stop.Apr 24th, 2011
I am an artist who enjoys creating illustrations for all ages. When I first started drawing, I drew anime fanart. Even though it wasn't all that good, I kept going. I later drifted away from anime into more of a fantasy interest and started painting faeries in watercolors. Due to the high prices for traditional media, I switched to digital media only in 2008. After temporarily getting bored with fantasy in 2010, I began to paint animals. I would still do fantasy from time to time, but focus on animals. Since summer 2013, I have reincorporated fantasy, but with the anime style, back into my gallery. I'm 23 years of age, who loves digital art, photography, photo manipulation and traditional art :) I really want to work with such professions later in life. I'm experiencing something new everyday and try to learn as much as possible to become even better. I also do a bit of website designs, as well as coding (HTML, CSS and a bit of PHP.).Aug 14th, 2013
"A work of art is the unique result of a unique temperament." - Oscar Wilde After spending most of my life in South Africa, I moved to the U.S. of A. in 2010. I am currently a misguided student in Baltimore Maryland, devoted wholly to the joys that only a lens, a darkroom, and great amounts of solitude can bring. "For the world to be interesting you have to be manipulating it all the time." - Brian Eno After realizing that "surreality" is far more interesting than actual reality, one discovers that there are aspects to the commonplace that are not so readily apparent, but that can nevertheless be captivating. This new insight in turn allows reality to become more interesting, causing one's day-to-day experience of life to be enhanced. Lowbrow is a widespread populist art movement with origins in the underground comix world, punk music, hot-rod street culture, and other subcultures. Lowbrow art often has a sense of humor - sometimes the humor is gleeful, sometimes impish, and sometimes it is a sarcastic comment. The single most common tactic that Lowbrow artists employ is to poke fun at convention. They know the "rules" of art, and consciously choose not to abide by them. If the test of time for legitimacy (as an artistic movement) means that Lowbrow speaks/spoke, in visual terms, to the millions of us who share a common cultural, symbolic language - albeit a "lower" or "middle" class, media-driven language - then, yes, Lowbrow is here to stay. Anthropologists will probably study Lowbrow in the future, to attempt to figure out late 20th and early 21st century U.S. societal influences.May 18th, 2012
