This is no hit piece. No Force Majure. This is not an ad homiem attack on the person or people in this matter.
This is to show why this final fight will fall flat on its face.
There is a new article, from you know who that states that there is going to be a final fight for the Block called Toonami.
I have to give credit were credit is due, Hes fighthing where others like me have step aside and let the maggots do there job and end things that did not come up naturally.
But thats the thing- Toonami cant be saved.
Let me explain:
[i]We want Toonami to be the premiere action-animation franchise on Cartoon Network once again.[/i]
This cannot happen. Toonami no longer has any clout with the neo-art house/ proto moe-otaku fans that now consitutes the majority of both american and with the latter Japanese animation. Through the Disney restructing campain (which I will explain later in an upcoming series called the Generic End of the American Spirit) and the Otaku trying to break apart the companies that dont give them what they want, it has become aparent that Toonami would never be as good as it was before.
Adult Swim does the h-core stuff Toonami used to do, and in spades- while the Saturday Morning Block for CN does what Toonami did back for when it aired Hamtaro and so on.

Wow, you seem to forget that Toonami used to air every day from 3 to 6? Once they left and got replaced by another Water Based Block, the block was dead and buried and should have been buried. The latter block was killed so quickly...its almost a mircale that Toonami lasted this long.

This isnt going to happen as much as people want. Outside Danny Phantom and or Advitar, nobody would remember what Naruto was. And the manga is going through some tough times staying away from becoming DBZ-Light. Its Toonami's only saving grace because thats where the fanbase (as i said on top) are going to.

WHOA. Thats gonna be a strech. The Cartoon Network ONLY airs one ad for the Mr Man Show for Kids WB and the GameStation. Toonami isnt even making the ratings and even though they wish they could air AS ads everywhere, they cant because what would benfit Disney or Nick to share compeating advertisments?

How will that change anything? Your asking for the reinvention that has been already been perfected and made Generic by Disney! (Jetix) And for who's benfit?
Toonami became a shell of its self a long time back, its now just doing Viz's bidding since it got more money than them. Warner Brothers does not have much power in the whole Blu-Ray consortium of things, and have made silly mistakes. But if there is one thing i know- These things have a way of sorting themselfs out...
