In the States, we are in the primaries. And as you know, these primaries deal with who will be the winner of each parties nomiation at the convetion around summer.
But recently, something has come up. And the fact that nobody in the media both right and left would want to say.
Right now, its a close race. But it seems that Miss Clinton has the Race right now in her hands. If she does take UltraTuesday (which Fox has to call Super Tuesday because there doing the Super Bowl this year) she will have a huge lead.
The Race is simple. The first of the Dems to reach 2026 points wins the Primary. There is one small caviat though. There is something called a superdelagate. A superdelegate comes in when there are ties. Those that have run before in a state, local or federal election, will get a host of superdelagates to give the candates now running. If nobody reaches that Magic number or a its too close to call, then the superdelagates kick in. Its like the electral college for the main election.
In the Republican side, there is no such deal. They must win out. 1,196 to win.

Now we got the boring part of the way, i stated before that if Miss Clinton win out, then we would have a bush, clinton, bush, clinton for the last (possible) 28 years. Thats most of a persons life time. It also reeks of something the founding fathers tried to advoid, which is dynasty controled by one family of two familes.
The Ron Paul (Doctor No, R3evution) run for President has been a very intresting case. Not because its intresting in its methods, nor that there paultards, or what have you.
Its something much deeper than this.
Its about a man who has been ripped to shreds by the media, and even by his former supporters (Kirwan and others) still gets up and fights on.
Fox News did nothing wrong when they showed the candates who were on Nevadas Primary. They were going by how many delegates won. Sadly, they did not show who was in place in Nevada, starting the whole call of nepotisim. This is understandable. But, be proud that Dr Paul is making everybody scream in anger over the Thomson, Guliani and at times, Huckabee fronts: he has 6 delegates, and might get enough to change the election. He might win Texas if it gets to that point, and has to come third in the majorty of the UltraTuesday primaries to even have a case.
What makes me happy about Dr Paul's run is that he does remind you of your grandpa, no not the one that comes over to the dropout and says how hes a great american, but you see the mans record, and its impeceable. Im a little worried about some of his words, however hes a good man. Somebody I in the future want to end up becoming.
Not like Mr Clinton though. He...disspointed me. See, you can play good cop bad cop, but dont go on the rampage when your wife is in trouble. Isnt she her own person? Obama is no better because he played right into there hands. He does have the superdelegates, and the actual votes to win the race. But its more of a war between two diffrent intllectual powers behind both canadates. (and they say the Jews own the media...you can say those that became Jews own it but not BORN Jewish, and i have many Jewish friends, and they can confirm its not as it looks, however they do feel sometimes somethings up in Israel they dont like and it has nothing to do with Palastine, but thats for a future date)
These powers do not like Russia, and still are up in there crawl. Maybe because they couldnt get the pretty ladies with the pretty teeth back then now they mad because the desendents of these are no longer putting out. Its all comes down to that darn bed in the end. And pretty black gobs of oil. And how many more women...or men they can get from said oil.
Kinda sad isnt it.
I think that why Paul (and in some ways Obama) are popluar is because there consepts are good, the ideas seem sound, and the Young want the world fair if not equal or right. When myspace turns into a sexual spot for the disinfranchised youth looking for a job, so they can get the PS3's and the rest of the "adjusted" family setting that they themselfs did not experaince as youth, such a man like Paul and his stable, non hypritcal life is a breath of fresh air.
In some ways though, people want stablity, a link back to the past that made them happy. For them its the Clintons. For me however, the good days havent started..
Yet.
This is important because i dont have a canadate i will support yet, but Paul seems he comes at a time that he is the agent of deconstrucion, because boy, a lot of crap needs changing.
Just watch out. That vote could mean a lot more than a link to happyness of days gone by...
(Note of the pic...he just left the race at the time of this journal entry...)
