I originally painted this in watercolours with both metallic and interference paint, but I thought I would play around with it in photoshop. I am actually really happy with how it turned out once I digitally enhanced it. I don't normally ever do anything to my watercolours, but this one felt right once I did. I hope you enjoy it as well!
The monthly theme was "New Beginnings". The scarab is an Egyptian symbol that can symbolize new beginnings. :)
