What are those columns with the Japanese writing? Nice setting. It reminds me of a graveyard for some reason.

  Honestly, I'm not sure. This was taken on the grounds of Himeji Castle, where there's a temple or shrine there. From the picture there's too little there to really tell what the kanji is for. /dehk might be able to read it better than I and have a better idea of what it's for.
