Without reference pencil drawing started before graphic design lecture, finished at home. Touched up a bit of the light in the eye in photoshop because my sketchbook paper held onto the graphite too well.

First ever completed painting on a stretched canvas. 20"x16" acrylic paint, I see now why people state photos do paintings no justice. You can't see how I made the eyes, lips, and nose glossy, satin textured the fur, nor the simple matte medium mixed for the background. This is a portrait of my sister's blue merle C.K.C. Pomeranian when he was 2 years old.

Project 3 (Final) done for ARTA 211: Introduction to Drawing I at the University of Tennessee's School of Art. Took myself out of three comfort zones: 1 - using charcoal and 2 - using different colors of paper and 3 - tying all three pictures together. Will title after touchups to finalize the piece at a later date. Total demensions: 24"x54".

Morphing shiloette from Project 1, Pt.1 in Art 211: Introduction to Drawing at University of Tennessee's School of Art. Conflict with this one, when one teacher in the class said to add bubbles, and then the one grading it said the bubbles were too cute and deducted points. I plan to add more to this when the semester is over, but it is still dynamic enough in itself as a stand-alone piece. - ink, bristole board, spray paint -

18"x24" figure drawing in charcoal and gesso done for Art 211: Introduction to Drawing at University of Tennessee's School of Art. Though not the best, more than I was able to do before this class, so I'm proud enough to share it here. My first time using gesso as well. I hope to be able to scrap this before next semester because my skills will have improved enough to not count this as one of my best works.
