Boredom is significant blank. However, without blank, how will we remember the meaning of desire for it? Our life is short, but too crowded. We have a very full schedule. We have too much time in work and communication. As the Tagore said:“ Don’t try to fill the emptiness of life, because the melody came from the blank deep inside”. The spirit of Blank inspired me and I aimed to create emptiness on body as a recall for imagination.
So, in this collection, I used the paper roll to translate “blank”. I paid attention to the body structure from 2D to 3D without gorgeous colours. White, which represents the purity, space and imagination, was the only colour for the garments. I utilized two fabrics showing sense of space and increasing gradations.
