This is a town where the Nazis maintained a concentration camp and quarry in WWII. You can actually see the old buildings and watchtowers in the center of the image (the camp is now a museum and memorial site). It is impossible to imagine the hardships in winter that the inmates suffered while working in the quarry at -20°C.
