I have seen many of these photos. Why do you think that it is so prevalent to photograph a solid walking space out onto a liquid space? What interest do you think it holds for so many viewers?

No, no. Not your work, i mean the IDEA in general. i'm sorry if it came off incorrectly. I mean why do you think that this type of image is so prevalent and why do you think it 'works'? i am curious as to your views as an artist.
