I know, it's amazing what the camera can capture thats just to fast for the eye to register.....I think thats why I love shooting smoke. Thankyou Nicolete.
Dont worry i like Nicolete and i go by Nicky, Nooks, nix, even stix lol so don't stress (O: - i wouldn't mind picking up a camera and starting to do photos but i don't seem to have much of idea where to start lol but i guess learning the lights and camera angles are the first step right?
The beauty of photography is anyone can pick up a camera and start shooting. It might be better to be to be formally trained or have experience one way or another but really it's like drawing in that anyone can pick up a pencil and give it a go. And, you just never know where you may discover a talent.
To someone new to photography I'd always say start by shooting something that interests you or that you have a passion for. Then once you start getting more into it the key is to appreciate and understand light. Everything else is secondary to my mind, light is very definitely the key to all photography and everything else can be learnt as you go.
You'll find the appreciation of light comes naturally the more you shoot, the only way to start really is to get stuck in. If you have any questions I'm more than happy to help although I'm by no means a profesional.
