Right, i recently decided to buy a wacom tablet simply due to the fact that it would help me in my profession aswell as i wanted to try out digital drawing.. so this is my first made, hope you appreciate it.

  • raradolly I remember when I got my tablet! I was so excited to use it, used it, and was freaked out at the difference between looking at my paper and drawing and looking at a screen and blind drawing. I stopped using it for like 6 months before I decided to stick with it. To this day, I cannot *draw* with my tablet, I have to scan in drawings and edit them in Photoshop, or I have to forget the drawing and sketching and just go straight for painting, laying on colors and values. As far as texture goes, you'd be amazed what you can find "works." Experimenting with it is pretty fun. Good luck with your new friend. :)

7Shadows nobody is loosing anything. what we were taught is part of us forever. you just need to find someone to get inspired from. start small, low-profile again. i suggest to open photoshop, take an old piece or a cool photo, remix it and go crazy!
