The tiger is my favourite animal. I felt particularly inspired to paint this piece after watching a repeat of 'Two Brothers,' fairly recently.

I have recently acquired a Paphiopedilum 'Jersey Freckles,' orchid with two flower spikes. I love this plant, and have painted it's flowers from life in Sennelier watercolour on black paper. It did not take me too long, unlike the barn owl.

This is a small coloured pencil drawing. My second attempt with the Faber -Castell pencils that my Dad gave me for Christmas. The paper is Bristol Canson, which still chaffed very slightly in areas, but is a great improvement on the printer quality type that I used before for my Caracal. -Utilization of my own reference photograph.

A reasonably quick drawing of a Caracal cat. I tried out the Faber Castell coloured pencils that I was lucky enough to have at Christmas. I will need to invest in better quality drawing paper ( I mainly work in watercolour) as this ordinary type frayed and I was fortunate that it did not rip in parts when pressure was applied.
