Shadowness - Madleg I'm a graphic designer, i love illustration, i work in the VFX industry as a 3d artist. en The crusher
This one is called... The crusher, it can pretty much bite and crush everything, its heavy weight help it demolish everything it wants, it tends to fight by charging against whoever bothers it and hits it with its pointy nose, if that doesn't work it just destroys it with its mouth. Here's the turntable if you wanna check it out I did this one for a contest, I'm going to make another one, but don't know when that will be , anyway here's the first, the kaiju was done using zbrush dynamesh, and render and props in 3ds max using vray as render. Hope you like it, any comments and critics are welcome Fri, 11 Jul 2014 00:14:39 -0400 Runaway
An illustration I did for a short's poster, this is a resized one since the original was huge some 10,000 x 10,000 pixels haha. It was pretty fun doing this one, since I didn't have much time it lacks detail, like facial hair and some other things, but finally didn't end up that bad, so hope you like it. Everything done using zbrush and max with vray for rendering, C&C are welcome ;) Sat, 22 Mar 2014 02:13:06 -0400 Billy The Kid
This is my first finished piece of 2014, wuuu, I made this one for a contest, where i had to illustrate the "Yipie Kay Yay Motherfucker" phrase and Billy the Kid in one same illustration, so this is what i came up with. Billy runs screaming "Yipie Kay Yay Motherfucker" after taking the candy pacifier from another baby and escaping from his mother... for the second time ¬¬. Hope you like it, most of the base models and props made un 3dsmax, detailing over in zbrush, baby completely in zbrush, render using 3ds max with vray, post using photoshop and after effects. Thanks for any critics and comments, they are very welcome, and again hope you enjoy ;). Sat, 08 Feb 2014 03:55:55 -0500 Speed 01
My first "speed" sculpt, it always happens to me ...¬¬... every time i try to make a speed sculpt.. i can't stop working on ti and end up taking a lot of time hahaha... anyway, this was about 5-6hrs total. Modeling, texturing in zbrush, render in max using vray, comp in photoshop. Hope you like it! Thu, 09 Jan 2014 18:10:45 -0500 Speed 02
Second attempt at speed sculpting, same goes here, this was way faster but ended up going to ... 3-5hrs total too so, haha, i'll try really hard next time to stop at 1-1.5hrs. Same tech info, model and texture in zbrush, render in max with vray, and comp in photoshop. Thu, 09 Jan 2014 18:10:44 -0500 Behemoth
From my "sketch a week" series this was last weeks, the concept isn't mine, it's from an awesome artist i found over deviant, here's the link to the concept Although it wasn't as fast as the others, this one actually took me a lot more, didn't take the time but it must have been around 15-20hrs, the little house was one i found at turbosquid, everything else modeled and textured in zbrush, rendered in 3ds max using vray and the final comp in photoshop and after effects. Hope you like it, i did like how the final ended up, still i think it needs a lot of work, but i'll leave it here for now, since i still need to make this week's model haha. Comments and critics are very welcome, and again hope you enjoy it. Sun, 20 Oct 2013 00:16:12 -0400 Bodybuilder
I'm trying to force myself to make a quick sketch a week, at least, this is the first one, wasn't as fast as i was expecting, i'll try to make the new ones faster and better ;) that's the point of this "challenge". Also i wanna get better at doing my own concept characters so, i'll try my best ;). This is just a bodybuilder guy running up a hill... while lifting, i've always thought when looking at bodybuilders, when they have their clothes on they look.. fat, so is kind of what i wanted to show here and also use it as muscle study. Hope you like it, you can check out the big version on the download button. C&C are welcome. I forgot to put the tech info, modeled in zbrush, rendered in max, as well as the grass and mountais, comp over at photoshop ;) 5-6hrs total time. Here's a turntable video of the guy Modeled using Zbrush, rendered in 3ds max with vray. Mon, 30 Sep 2013 17:28:21 -0400 E.T.
I made this one for an alien from movies contest, as you all know, this is the character from the movie E.T: The Extra-Terrestial directed by Steven Spielberg, don't know if he was the character designer but i suppose he was since, from what i know, E.T. was based on his imaginary friend after his parents got divorced, anyway, i wanted to make a fast one since i'm doing a model per week, this is the moment just before E.T. decides to go swimming in the river and end up pretty messed up, he just wants to go home, hope you like it, critics and comments are welcome. Model made in zbrush rendered in max using vray and comp in photoshop, aprox 18 hrs total. The E.T. and the rock are 3d, everything else is comp from pictures i had, some grass pieces i cut from photos, same goes for the moon and the tree. Mon, 30 Sep 2013 17:28:19 -0400 Negrito bailarín
This is last week's sketch. although i forgot to upload it in time hahaha, anyway it was done last week, as i said i trying to make one each week for a contest i'll be entering in october so i gotta be fast ;). This is just a guy who loves dancing, he has "sugar" in his veins, and he loves it haha (just a saying... he's not diabetic or something), when he dances its like if there was no one else doing it, he's simply the best, he's cuban by the way (y). Modeled, textured and posed in zbrush, render in 3ds max using vray, total completion time about... 8 hrs. Mon, 16 Sep 2013 05:14:49 -0400 As clean as a monster
Well this was a thing i wanted to do a long time ago, a monster, it all started after seeing the gobling king from The Hobbit, so i thought it would be fun to do a pretty gross monster, so i started playing a bit with zbrush and ended up with this guy. The backstory of it, is just... have you ever wondered if monsters take baths too? i mean if they are scary that doesn't mean they have to be stinky and dirty or do they? he might be very ugly and gross but he enjoys taking a nice hot bath, helps him relax and think about evil things he can do, he also loves the Pusheen cat, so much, actually he loves cats in general, the problem is he's too grumpy and doesn't want to loose control with a real cat, that's why he doesn't have one. For the technical info, whole character made in zbrush, except for the base, that and the room were done in 3ds max, also rendered there using vray, comp using photoshop and afterFX, i'll be making a turntable of the monster since i was pretty happy with how it ended up and detail can be better appreciated there. Cheers! C&C are very welcome! Mon, 15 Jul 2013 02:11:24 -0400
