YOU´RE WEARING THEIR MASKS

I wanted to show two roles of our existence: the rotten mask is a metaphor of the people who needs to be part of the mass for to feel safe and alineated, and the rotten spots are the slowly lost of the individual existence when that people do it. I think is the easy way. The other face is a metaphor of the people who fight and learn every day for to be themselves and live by their own values and try to think by themselves. The marks are the scars of the eternal fight between the mass and the individual.

I think that we live right now in an era with that two extreme opposite ways of life are bigger than ever. The strong media overdose and the technology are a big influence in our life today, and sometimes is hard to know if you need all that bullshit and believe all that you see, read and listen. Society, moral and culture defines the idea of what´s beautiful, good, evil, what you need and what you don´t need, the way you eat, what´s cool and the definition of succes and happines. In or out, conscious or unconscious we all live in some dregrees of that system. So i wanted to show the two heads as the society and the two heads as a part of it.

I think we don´t have a real quality of life, physical and spiritual ( just think why we need that millions of pills) We just have more distractions than ever.
