That’s Igor, Manny and myself (John).

We did the very first family shoot for Manny Paquiao. It was great to see him in a different light: a father attending to his baby daughter and young boys quite different from the a champion in the ring picture we have of him. The pictorial was commissioned for several media applications.

Wedding photography has become big business in the Philippines. I know some photographers who can do upwards of 500 weddings a year believe it or not. In countries like the US this is unheard of since I have been hearing that many do 25 to a maximum of 50 a year. In here, some large studios have multiple shooting teams so shooting more is possible. Whether that is ideal or beneficial to clients is another story. I think scale can be good for any business as long as quality and consistency are maintained for each and every client.

A wedding is probably the most special occasion in a couple's life. Therefore, as a wedding photographer I believe the same special attention and care should be afforded to couples and families when photographing them. As any good commercial shoot, capturing the story and essence of your subject/s takes careful planning that involves getting to know your clients well. So whether it's advertising or portraiture being able to record the character and the very heart of your subject in your photographs can spell the difference between very meaningful work or just nice photos. Wedding photography is no different.

Weddings, weddings, weddings. That's the order of June and July. We will be making a noticeable push in this category to generate continuous wedding related business by year's end. The new promotional card on the left is one way we will be promoting this service. We will also be more visible in selected markets both through on-line and traditional channels.

We believe the promotional card sums up our wedding photography as it connotes a different approach to the whole wedding business in terms of the style of photography as well as the manner by which we will be relating with our groom's' and brides' to be.

Luminosi Studios was established last year and so far we have served the requirements of many discerning commercial clients. Customers include a bank, a petroleum company, tobacco companies, restaurants, bars, magazines, automobiles, motorbikes, fashion designers, interior designers, a real estate company etc.

Prior projects are somewhat passively acquired. We hope that in the next few months we capture more of the market especially high profile projects as we start to invest in marketing.

In the mean we are enjoying the ride as we take our photography and conceptual ideas to new ground.
