Some sections do look overworked with smoothing, while other areas could use some sharpening, but you already knew that based on your comments. So here's something outside of that. I'd suggest either brightening or darkening the grey background. With the tone right in the middle you really don't get the *POP* from the Black&White image like you could. You certainly don't have to go all the way black or all the way white with the background, but personally I feel like sections of skin on your legs, and sections of your hair just get pulled into the background instead of popping out of the background as they should.
