Animation update schtuff.

This is pretty much how I felt this morning. Have you ever had days like that? When you just feel kind of weird and loopy, and your ears are ringing like you've spent all night with the earbuds from your MP3 player jammed into your ear canal all night, with the volume at full blast and the bass powerful enough to bring the t-rex from Jurassic Park to shame?
Yeah...It was one of those days.
Oh well.
All things considered, I'm getting more done than I thought I would be. I got some music together for the animation I'm working on in Flash. (There was one I was working on before this, and it was in full color, but so many corners were cut, and some of the animation and audio was so bad, that I scrapped it to collect virtual dust. This is why you don't try to do anything bit like this under a pressed time limit. D: )
Music is important, too, for carrying along the story without words. These are all works in progress, except for possibly Su's Music Box.

This is for one of the more tense scenes in the animation. Su has to decide whether or not to go into the dark to rescue Bat Barf. She could easily just hide under her bedsheets, but what about her friend? Meanwhile, a storm rages outside.

This is a much gentler and innocent melody. Su has a music box that plays this song. The box (or rather, the melody itself) plays a more important role in a different story I wrote.

I can't really explain this one, yet, but it has an almost comical mood to it.
I'm not the best musical composer in the world, but (in terms of royalties), it'll be easier for me if I make all of my own music and sound. I think I made the mood fit well enough, but when it gets down to it, the visual will move along the sound, and the sound will move along the visual.
After all this malarkey is through with, I'll upload it to my comcast space so I can share with you guys. I've never finished a project quite like this before, so, here's to finishing.
