The Adventure Pt. 3

Still shaken from their sudden departure, Lily and Crane left the water lily as soon as it stopped moving. Disoriented, they looked about them.

"Where are we?"
"I don't know... And who are all these people? Look, there are real lilies, too, like you!"
"Yes..."

"Wait, who is crying?"
"That would be me."
"And who are you?"
"I am Seal Senior."
"I'm Crane. Why are you crying?"
"Someone took my baby away from me! It was huge monster, with hands bigger even than I am."
"Oh, that is terrible. Today is only Lily's and my first day outside... We didn't know the world was anything like this."
"You should be very careful around here, little Crane."
"We... I think... I think we have a magic sea lily or something, maybe it can help us find your baby."
"Could you lend it to me?"
"Sure, but you are too big, you will not fit in there. But... we can find the little Seal for you, if you want."
"But you are only babies yourselves!"
"Which means we fit the magic plant thing very well. Come, Lily, we are on a rescue mission now!"

Crane didn't feel all that sure as he dragged Lily back to the water lily, but he was determined to help.
