Hadn't done a digital painting in some time so I started this, trying to make it as realistic as possible. Originally, the woman didn't have any veins or scarring or...um..broken blood vessels xD But it was boring and I really wanted to draw an infected eye...so yep. That's what I did. :) And as for the background, I wanted a kinda extraterrestrial thing, and I found these moon brushes that I made more customed to fit the style.
Photoshop Cs3, Wacom Tablet, no reference, and 2 day span.
