Done for my Digital Painting Illustration class. The goal was to create a self-portrait using Corel Painter 12. I decided to turn myself into a motorcycle gang/mafia/badass version of myself, which is so unlike me. Had a lot of fun with this one! Corel Painter 12 & some minor adjustments in Photoshop CS6.

More of a mixed media piece, I did the lineart traditionally with micron marker and added colors in Photoshop.

Pencil drawing. I love drawing detailed hair -- especially braiding -- so this was a fun piece for me. Birds, too, are also a muse of mine. Done in mechanical pencil.

College has been pretty time-consuming (duh...) and we're working on a lot of technical stuff, like perspectives and abstract designs; it kind of sucks the creativity out of me so I've been working on this piece a few hours a night. 15 hours.

Today has been kind of an annoying day so when I started drawing one piece, I couldn't get into it so I just decided to do something easy. But then I felt less annoyed so I put more effort into this. ;D It's not a concept painting or anything, didn't paint it with the intention of creating an environment so I guess it'll just stick as a digital painting. I love red skies and I guess what made this so fun is that it's elements I'm already familiar with: simple sitting positions, trees, skies... Having everything kind of easy made this fun and I guess this would be the equivalent of a sketch. Photoshop Cs3, Wacom Tablet, 3 hrs.
