Hello I'm Newman, I live in Oregon, I have been a freelance tee shirt designer for four years now. I have a BFA in Fine Art from the University of Hawaii where I studied Polynesian art history. Kalliope Amorphous is an artist whose primary body of work has evolved into an exploration of the conceptual self-portrait photograph as a catalyst for exploring ideas of identity, gender, archetype and myth. Her work ranges from interpretations of pre-existing iconography to compositions meant purely to provoke and challenge perceptions and first impressions. Kalliope on her work: “I am not a photographer or a narcissist. I am an artist with a camera. I want to push the boundaries of what I define as “self” and “other” by playing with ideas of identity, emotion and the various visual interpretations and possibilities that exist within them.” Self-taught in photography, Kalliope takes an intuitive approach to composition and lighting and works without the aid of professional lighting or studio equipment. Makeup, costuming, photography, and post processing are all self-created. Kalliope is a recipient of the 2010 Julia Margaret Cameron award for self-portraiture photography. She has exhibited and published her work throughout the United States and internationally.

I've been doing work in photoshop since I was 13, when I was 15 I started experimenting with 3D work in Bryce, 3DSM, and Maya . I've been doing traditional art since I was 7 and focused on that for the last two years. I've done some work for a few months in Illustrator and am now heading back to college to get a bachelors in Graphic Design. I worked as an an administrator for www.gameamp.com specifically at http://gw.gameamp.com and then for a year and a half as the site manager of wow.gameamp.com. I have been a member here since soon after this sites conception.

He captured in his notebook those dreams which didn�t come true, the mind�s dark betrayals, the aromas from the intense reality which he will never be able to live. Because he doesn�t live the present, neither the past, or the future, he is the shadow which follows the wind, the sound which accompanies the fantasies from the unreal. He looks for beauty in the darkness, for the passion in the inert, every sigh immerses him in a world where creation is life. Sometimes he felt like time slid through his fingers, and in every second the most dark ghosts would overcome him, he woke up from his litany with a creative spirit, and his sensations, his fears, disappeared at creation. Close your eyes, and in each sparkle of your heart, he will reflect your soul�s fears.
