This is Tenaya Lake In Yosemite National Forest.. Its Frozen Over and was Pretty damn Cool to walk on! I fell in love with this spot last year when I came up in the warmer months and the Lake is the most amazing Blue! There wasn't much cloud cover till I got Farther up the Summit but I stopped to Look close at the Ice and Thought a Shot From the Ice would be Cool.. So what you see here is Ice about 8 inches thick and the Bubbles are Frozen in it.

wow, thats amazing! ive never seen ice like this without snow on top of it anyway. usually like some cloud cover but think the clear sky worked out for the better here as not to distract from the bubbles :D beautiful shot, Brian!
